Two roles that weren’t in this survey are the Chief Marketing Technology Officer, who makes anywhere from $140k to $241k, and the Chief Digital Officer, $148k to $280k, according to a 2014 report from Mondo Resourcing and Staffing Agency. Do you have these roles in your company?

I’m working on a story about the Chief Digital Officer. Some say the CDO is critical, others think it’s another ego in the C-suite to gum up the works. What do you think? Let’s connect. tom.kaneshige@penton.com.
